Good Food Oxfordshire is excited to celebrate our recent collaboration with the OX4 Food Crew and its inspiring social enterprises. This partnership has resulted in two major milestones: the launch of the Community Wealth Building Report and a promotional video for OX4 Food Crew’s food enterprises showcasing their catering services.
The Community Wealth Building Report captures the journeys, challenges, and achievements of the entrepreneurs behind OX4 Food Crew’s five food enterprises and in their own words. Through their stories, the report highlights lessons for others embarking on similar ventures and offers key recommendations for fostering a thriving, inclusive environment for food-related enterprises. Funded by Oxford City Council’s Community Impact Fund as part of their ‘Big Ideas’ grant programme, the report reflects the policies and support systems needed to create resilient and sustainable community food enterprises.
We are especially grateful to the incredible entrepreneurs who generously shared their experiences to shape this report:
- Nuha from Damascus Rose Kitchen
- Annie, Pippa, Musti, and Helen from Flo’s Place in the Park
- Ella and Katie from No Vice Ice
- Hassan from OCA Kitchen
- Sandra and Marie from Waste2Taste
Their resilience, creativity, and insights are at the heart of this project.
By sharing these stories and insights, we hope to inspire more food-related enterprises and create supportive systems where they can thrive.

Together we can create a future where food enterprises not only succeed but also drive social good and build community wealth.
