Good Food Oxford Manager
Reports to: Directors of Good Food Oxford (GFO)
Location: Oxford
Terms: Part-time 3 days a week, permanent contract
Salary: £30,000 p.a. (pro rata)
Start date: 2nd March 2020
Summary of role
The Manager works to achieve Good Food Oxford’s aims and objectives as set out by the GFO Steering Group.
Whilst supported by the Co-ordinator, the Manager has overall responsibility and focus on Oxford’s good food strategy and action plan, team management, partnership building and new project development. Some project delivery is also required.
The main tasks of the role are:
- Guide the vision and strategy to achieve Oxford’s Good Food Charter aims, through partnership working, advancing policy, new project development, and gathering and presenting evidence for Oxford’s Sustainable Food Cities Silver Award by 2021 (and Gold by 2024).
- Communicating and reporting on progress to Steering Group, network members, funders, partners and other stakeholders, including through presentations and an Annual Report.
- Manage the GFO team, to include the Co-ordinator, interns, apprentices, long-term volunteers and Student Consultants – with a view to successful project delivery.
- Deliver projects as needed – currently Food Power – more information is available on the Good Food Oxford and Food Power websites.
