Hannah Jacobs has been one of the most important driving forces behind Good Food Oxford, taking it from a good idea to a thriving network of 130 organisations. After nearly four years, now she is leaving GFO for pastures new. The original Hannah, Hannah Jacobs discovered the Sustainable Food Cities methodology as the perfect way to improve the food for Oxford, and spent the first year on secondment from the Low Carbon Hub with Low Carbon Oxford transforming the vision into a reality. Hannah has been responsible for many of GFO's most creative endeavours, including directing and even writing the music for the network's exciting new video. After a short break, she'll be moving on to further music-focused work - but she will be staying in Oxford at least. We'd like to say a hearty thank you and farewell to Hannah Jacobs, raise a glass to her fantastic work getting Oxford on the map as a Sustainable Food City, making such a compelling case for the movement, and developing GFO's unique voice. Happily, Jade Neville from Feeding the Gaps will be joining us on a freelance basis to deliver the network and communications elements of Hannah Jacobs' role.
