Some pregnant mothers and parents of small children in Oxfordshire are eligible for a scheme, which aims to give their children the healthiest start in life.

The Healthy Start scheme, a national scheme, supported in the county by Oxfordshire County Council, Good Food Oxfordshire, Home Start, District and City Councils, and NHS, provides money for healthy food, milk and infant formula, providing families with an opportunity to top up their grocery shop.

To help promote the scheme, Oxfordshire County Council and have developed new Healthy Start marketing resources, informed by listening to local families and organisations.  The messaging has shifted to be more relatable and appealing, and we hope this will encourage more families to apply.
