We are delighted to showcase our local producers who provide a selection of freshly grown or produced items sold to institutional buyers through our initiative—shortening food supply chains, cutting food miles, and offering incredible produce.
LEARN MOREOur producers share a common goal: offering the highest quality produce using agroecological methods.
We take our due diligence seriously, requiring each producer to complete a comprehensive checklist developed using the Agroecological Assessment Framework. This ensures our network consistently upholds sustainable and ethical practices. Some producers have gone even further by providing detailed insights into their operations.
For example, Willowbrook Farm excels in ethical egg production, ensuring animal welfare and environmental sustainability. Similarly, The Missing Bean, Oxford’s original independent coffee shop, sources only direct-trade coffee—paying above the Fairtrade minimum wage. They also source flour for their sourdough from Bruern Farms and other organic Cotswold producers, reinforcing their commitment to local and sustainable sourcing.
